Nice to meet you!

I've been photographing Bryce since he was a newborn and we had a fun outdoor session a few weeks ago when the weather was warm, to celebrate his turning two. At the end, this little gentleman shook my hand, nodded his head and said, "Nice to meet you!"

Well, bless my customers! I received several out-of-the-blue "just wanna thank you for the great work you did" drop-ins and phone calls today!! In this busy season of 14-hour days I can hardly begin to tell you how much that helps to keep me going. =D Thank you!!

The Lawrence Arts Center is hosting a gala this year called Divas and Gents! Mark your calendar, the date is Saturday, June 13th and tickets will be on sale soon. It's a Hollywood-themed event and I am looking for ten area teens who will be good PAPARAZZI! Please email me for details and an application: insight@sunflower.com. The students will need to have access to a digital SLR camera and be able to take fun, rather unposed pictures of people at the event and then make the images black and white. Those who wish to enter the contest to become event PAPARAZZI will upload five of the best images they have already taken to a contest page on my website and voters will choose their favorites. Deadline for entry is April 30.
