Graduating Senior Special

The Lawrence Arts Center is hosting a gala this year called Divas and Gents!  Mark your calendar, the date is Saturday, June 13th and tickets will be on sale soon.  It's a Hollywood themed event and I am looking for ten area teens who will be good PAPARAZZI for the event!  Please email me for details and an application: insight@sunflower.com.  The students will need to have access to a digital SLR camera and be able to take fun, rather unposed pictures of people using flash and make the images black and white.  Those who wish to enter the contest will upload five black and white images to a contest on my website and voters will choose their favorite images.  Deadline for entry is April 30.

Easter Bunny is Visiting April 4th and 11th!

Amelia the Easter Bunny will be visiting the studio on April 4th and 11th!  Your kids can tell all their friends they got to play with the Easter Bunny.  Amelia is looking forward to celebrating her season! Warm Day, Warm Smiles

It's one of the benefits of living in the middle of the country...we sometimes get those nice warm temperatures drifting up from Texas.  Tuesday was one of those days and Stu and Mary walked with me through downtown Lawrence so I could take pictures of them for their folks.  Thought you'd enjoy seeing some smiles in the midst of winter.

Junction City won the championship but the Firebirds played well and will return to win a championship another year!
